Week 12 P.E. @ Home: Lesson Spotlight
K-4thThis week we will continue our nutrition series with a lessons on protein!
Protein is important to eat as it helps our body grow, helps repair any injuries we have, help us breathe, get stronger, and protects us from getting sick. Challenges Nutrition: Watch the video above and try to name all of the different types of protein you eat with your family. 5-8thThis week we continue our HITT Challenge we started last week and will also do a Mental Health Check.
We have all been experiencing a lot these past few months. It’s normal to have felt many different feelings since March. As you each are about to move onto a new stage in your life, whether it be a new grade or going to high schools, it’s important to process what you have gone through in order to be successful in your next stage of life. In this week’s form you are going to check off all of the feelings you have felt during quarantine and what you currently feel now. Then you're going to pick one mental health challenge and try it out for this week. Be sure to watch the video above for an intro into what mindfulness is.
